About us

The Faculty of Social Sciences at Uganda Pentecostal University is committed to training professionals who can analyze, understand, and address complex social issues. Students gain knowledge in sociology, social work, development studies, psychology, and related disciplines, while developing critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills.

Through practical fieldwork, community engagement, and research projects, the faculty equips learners to contribute effectively to social development, policy formulation, and community-based initiatives. Graduates emerge as ethical, informed, and socially responsible leaders, ready to drive positive change in NGOs, government agencies, research institutions, and international development organizations.
