Our Founder
Uganda Pentecostal University was founded by Professor John Ntambirweki (1952–2023), a distinguished legal scholar, educator, and visionary leader. With a deep commitment to academic excellence, integrity, and service, he established the institution in 2001 (then the Grotius School of Law and Professional Studies), laying the foundation for what has become a fully accredited university.
Professor Ntambirweki’s passion for law, education, and ethical leadership continues to inspire UPU’s mission of transforming lives and shaping society through knowledge and values.
