Bachelor of Public Administration
The Bachelor of Public Administration equips students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in public policy, governance, leadership, public finance, and organizational management. The programme blends theory with hands-on experience through case studies, internships, and community projects, preparing graduates to effectively manage public institutions and drive positive social impact.
Graduates are prepared for careers in government ministries, local government, NGOs, policy research, public sector consulting, and international development, with the option to advance into postgraduate studies in public administration, leadership, or governance.

Direct Entry

Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent, with at least five passes including English and Mathematics.

Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least two principal passes obtained at the same sitting.

Essential subjects may include: Economics, Entrepreneurship, Mathematics, Geography, Literature, Computer Studies, and other business-related subjects.

General Paper is desirable.
Diploma Entry

A relevant Diploma in Public Administration or any related field from a recognized institution.

Diploma holders may be admitted to Year Two of the DJR programme, subject to credit evaluation.
Mature Age Entry

Applicants aged 25 years and above with UCE or its equivalent may be admitted after passing the Mature Age Entry Examination, as per NCHE guidelines.
