Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

The Bachelor of Business Administration at UPU equips students with practical skills in management, finance, marketing, accounting, and entrepreneurship. The programme blends theory with hands-on experience through case studies, projects, and internships, preparing graduates to lead and innovate in today’s business world.

Graduates can pursue careers in business management, banking, finance, marketing, human resources, and entrepreneurship, or advance into postgraduate studies such as an MBA.

  • Credential: Bachelor's Degree

  • Duration: Three Years

  • Mode of Delivery: Physical Classes; on Campus

  • Language of Delivery: English

Cashless Payment

Direct Entry

  • Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent, with at least five passes including English and Mathematics.

  • Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least two principal passes obtained at the same sitting.

  • Essential subjects may include: Economics, Entrepreneurship, Mathematics, Geography, Literature, Computer Studies, and other business-related subjects.

  • General Paper is desirable.

 

Diploma Entry

  • A relevant Diploma in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field from a recognized institution.

  • Diploma holders may be admitted to Year Two of the BBA programme, subject to credit evaluation.

 

Mature Age Entry

  • Applicants aged 25 years and above with UCE or its equivalent may be admitted after passing the Mature Age Entry Examination, as per NCHE guidelines.
