Bachelor of Science in Education (BSCED)
The Bachelor of Science in Education (BScEd) at Uganda Pentecostal University equips students with strong scientific knowledge and effective teaching skills to excel as educators in STEM and science-related subjects. The program combines theoretical foundations in science, mathematics, and pedagogy with practical teaching experience, including lesson planning, classroom management, and educational research.
Graduates are prepared to teach at secondary and higher levels, contribute to curriculum development, and support STEM initiatives in schools and communities. The program also provides a solid foundation for postgraduate studies in science education, educational leadership, or specialized scientific disciplines.

Entry Requirements:

Direct Entry: UCE or equivalent with at least five passes including English and Mathematics; or UACE with at least two principal passes, including a science or mathematics subject. Relevant subjects may include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Geography, and other sciences. General Paper is desirable.

Diploma Entry: A relevant diploma in Science Education, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, or a related field from a recognized institution. Diploma holders may enter Year Two, subject to credit evaluation and faculty approval.

Mature Age Entry: Applicants 25 years or older with UCE or equivalent, including passes in English and Mathematics. Admission requires passing the Mature Age Entry Examination as per NCHE guidelines.
