Postgraduate Diploma in Education
The Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at Uganda Pentecostal University (UPU) is a one-year weekend programme designed to provide professional pedagogical training for graduates from any academic background who wish to join or advance in the education profession. This qualification builds on a first degree by equipping students with essential teaching skills, curriculum design expertise, educational psychology understanding, and classroom management techniques - preparing them to deliver high-quality instruction and leadership in schools and other learning environments. At UPU, the programme responds to local and national needs for well-qualified educators, contributing to improved educational outcomes and support for Sustainable Development Goal 4 (quality education).
